Terms & licence

Licence

Each purchase grants one business a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files internally. Your team and the professionals who advise you (for example your accountant) may open them on that business's behalf. You may edit and adapt them for your own business. You may not resell, redistribute, share publicly, or include the files or their content in products you sell. A second business needs its own copy. Multi-client licences for accountants and advisors are not on sale yet; if you want one, write to me through the contact form and tell me what it would need to cover. The same licence text is repeated inside each file, so the terms you read here are the terms you get.

Refunds

Every order is refundable in full within 14 days of purchase, on request, and you do not have to give a reason. Send a request through the contact form, quoting the order details on your Gumroad receipt, and the refund is issued through Gumroad to the payment method you used, for the full amount you were charged, in the currency you were charged in. How long your bank takes to show it is up to them, usually a few working days.

Your right to cancel (UK and EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase and receive a full refund, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Directive. Because these are digital files delivered immediately, that right can end once you have asked for immediate delivery and acknowledged that you are giving it up, and the download has begun. Rather than argue about when that happened, the 14-day refund above is offered to every buyer, wherever they are, download or no download — so in practice the cancellation right is honoured in full. If you think you have a right that this does not cover, say so: I would rather refund you than argue about it. To cancel, write to the contact form quoting the order details on your Gumroad receipt, or send any clear statement that you wish to cancel; you may use the model cancellation form wording: “I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of the following digital content: [product], order [reference], ordered on [date]. [Name], [address], [date].”

Pricing, currency and how you can pay

Prices are listed in US dollars. Checkout runs on Gumroad for every country: Gumroad, Inc. is the merchant of record, charges your card in US dollars, adds VAT or sales tax at checkout where your country requires it on digital products (the total is shown before you pay), delivers the file and issues refunds. OwnerKit is operated from Ghana, but the charge on your statement comes from Gumroad, so there is no cedi conversion and no foreign-transaction surprise on the seller's side; your own bank may still apply a fee if your card is not denominated in US dollars. Delivery is immediate: the download appears the moment payment clears and the receipt email carries the same link, and the files stay in your Gumroad library.

Your outputs

Anything you produce with the tools — spreadsheets you fill in, documents you write with the prompts, plans built from the playbook — is yours and may be used commercially. The restriction above applies only to the OwnerKit files themselves.

No professional advice

The products contain general business, financial and template material. They are not accounting, legal, contractual or tax advice, and forecasts they produce are not statutory accounts. Check contract entitlements with your quantity surveyor or lawyer, and figures with your accountant, before you act on them.
